Security & Privacy
MusicEdInventory is built for practical program management with organization-level access controls, conservative data collection, and a clear boundary around what we intentionally do not do.

MusicEdInventory runs over HTTPS. File uploads use signed upload paths, and Cloudflare R2 encrypts object data and metadata at rest while supporting TLS for data transfer.
MusicEdInventory is not an ad network, fundraising platform, payment processor, or mass parent messaging system. We do not sell student, donor, family, or program data.
What Belongs Here
MusicEdInventory is meant for operational records: instruments, uniforms, equipment, music library, donors, volunteers, students, locations, repairs, photos, and reports. Programs should avoid entering sensitive information that does not belong in an inventory or program management system.
What We Avoid
MusicEdInventory does not process payments, run fundraisers, or send mass parent texts. On purpose. We can help generate reports and communication templates from your data, but schools and organizations should send official communications through their approved channels.
Human-Led Software
In a world full of instant AI mockups and half-finished software, MusicEdInventory is intentionally built, tested, and maintained by people who understand music programs from the inside. The platform is shaped around actual directors, nonprofits, students, donors, volunteers, storage rooms, repair notes, and the everyday details that keep arts programs moving.
Data Ownership
Your program should always be able to understand, export, and use its own data. MusicEdInventory is designed to help organizations keep cleaner records, not trap them in a black box.
