MusicEdInventory started as a tool for a married pair of music educators. We needed a practical way to keep track of the million little details running through our minds while we lay awake at night trying to fall asleep. Years later, as one of us moved into arts nonprofit leadership and the other continued building a rockstar career in music education, we realized the same problem was still showing up for friends and colleagues across the field.

I built this for when your work is abundant, but your time is not.
MusicEdInventory was created by a music educator, arts nonprofit founder, and arts funder who has lived this problem from several sides. Music programs and arts nonprofits are often run by deeply capable people who are stretched thin. The issue is rarely that they do not care about organization. The issue is that they inherited systems that were never really systems: one spreadsheet here, one folder there, one person who used to know where everything was.
MusicEdInventory is my attempt to give those programs a practical home base. Not a corporate monster. Not a bloated finance platform. Just one organized workspace for the resources, people, records, and reports that help a program breathe.
